My mug is designed in a unique way using images and words to represent my family. The mug's intended audience is my mom, who I think will like the mug because of the unique scrafito designs and matching colors, green and amethyst. These colors themselves also represent me, amethyst being my birthstone and green representing nature as well as being my favorite color. My mug has a bumpy texture as well as an outer rim on the top and an indent on the bottom. I am not the best at sculpting, so I added these extra designs to make my mug more unique and to make the bumps feel a bit more intentional and a bit less sloppy. My mug can be used for many different things, such as being used for drinks, being used as a pencil holder, or even being used for a small plant due to its size. Because my mug isn't the best looking, I wanted to include the family designs so my Mom would still buy and someone in need could still be fed. We made the mugs for the Ikemeleng Foundation, and even though my mom would probably buy it anyway, I wanted it to be personalized so she has a memorable experience seeing it for the first time and knowing her moneys going to a good cause.
